Reem Halaseh is an urbanist and SDG advocate, holding a master’s degree in sustainable urban design. Her expertise spans a wide range of critical areas, including climate change vulnerabilities, adaptation, and resilience within urban settings, local development initiatives, and employing community engagement practices in reviving cultural heritage in urban tourism. She has extensive experience in urban planning and design and architectural and landscape design projects. Over the past three years, Reem has actively engaged in national policy directions related to SDG Integration and SDG Localization. She has contributed to Jordan’s fourth national communication report on climate change and developed a Climate Change risk assessment for Amman City. Reem had also earned the Chevening scholarship for 2019-2020.
