Tayseer Khairy from Egypt, holds a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering in 2002. Entails her study with a Master of Science of Integrated Urbanism and Sustainable Design, in 2015 from a double degree program between Ain Shams University in Cairo and Stuttgart University in Germany. For 10 years, she gained intensive practical and international experiences while working on different architecture projects in, Egypt, KSA and UAE. Since 2011, she joined URBANICS, For Sustainable Natural and Built Environment, as a Senior Associate.  Additionally, Tayseer worked as a lecturer, senior researcher and project manager where she led research projects, designed, coordinated courses and workshops at the Institute of IUSD Integrated Urbanism and Sustainable Design, master program for international students at Ain Shams University. She took part in teaching different courses tackling informal settlements, pre urban areas and social housing in the greater Cairo where it shed light on the importance of place making in more inclusive urbanism and sustainable infrastructure.  She participated in different place making projects in Germany and Egypt. Tayseer embarrassed participatory planning approach in different community development projects. She is also social and environmental activist, founder, board member and member in many associations and NGOs in Egypt.
